Bluetooth Control
The Astra IP comes with built-in Bluetooth which allows connection to lighting apps for Android and iOS
Bluetooth allows for direct control of the fixture from compatible lighting apps

Activate Bluetooth
To activate the Bluetooth radio in the Astra IP, navigate to the Comms Select menu and choose the Bluetooth option

With the "Enable" option highlighted, press the MENU encoder to select and Bluetooth will now be active. To turn off the Bluetooth radio, navigate back to this page and choose "Disable".

Connection Status
Once the Bluetooth radio is enabled navigate back to the Home screen.
Status: Disconnected
The signal indicator in the upper right of the display is the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator). When disconnected the RSSI diplays as black bars with a red line.

The Comms Select indicator (lower left icon) will show as Bluetooth, but the icon will be red before a connection has been made.
The fixture is now ready for Bluetooth discovery from a lighting app.
Status: Connected
Once a Bluetooth app is connected the Fixture Name will be displayed above the CCT slider and the Comms Select indicator will turn solid Blue.

Bluetooth Name
Every Astra IP generates a unique Bluetooth name based on the last two characters of its MAC Address. To see the Bluetooth name information navigate to Settings → System → System Info → Network Info. The active wireless radio, MAC Address and Bluetooth Name are displayed here.

For Example: If the last two characters of the MAC Address are "8A", the Bluetooth name will be "Astra IP 8A". Look for this name in the Android or iOS lighting app during Bluetooth discovery.
